Terms of Use

Last updated: 17 August 2026

SmashPad ("the app", "we", "us") is a free web-based play app for young children, operated as a personal project by Sidharth Mittal, an individual based in India. By using SmashPad you agree to these terms.

What SmashPad is

SmashPad is a safe fullscreen playground where a child can press keys or tap the screen and see letters, numbers, colours, shapes, and playful animations. It is intended to be used by a child under the supervision of a parent or guardian.

Free to use

SmashPad is provided free of charge. There are no accounts, no ads, and no paid or locked features. Everything the app offers is available to everyone at no cost.

Voluntary contributions

If you wish, you may make a voluntary contribution (a tip) through the "Support" button, processed by Razorpay. A contribution is a goodwill gesture to help cover hosting and development costs. It does not purchase any product, service, or feature — nothing in the app is unlocked or changed by contributing. Please see our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Supervision & safety

SmashPad blocks ordinary keys so a child cannot easily disrupt the page, and it requires a deliberate grown-up gesture (hold Esc, or hold the top-left corner) to exit. However, no web page can control your device's hardware keys (volume, brightness, power) or operating system. For a fully locked-down experience, use your device's kiosk feature (iPad Guided Access, Android screen pinning, etc.). You are responsible for supervising your child's use.

No warranty

SmashPad is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
